Singapore is a tropical island city off the coast of Malaysia that offers a wealth of cultural and historical attractions for visitors. The city is very welcoming and as most residents speak good English, it is easy for guests to find their way around.

The island’s mascot is the mythological half-lion, half-fish creature that stands on the Esplanade. Singapore’s attractions are a varied blend of ancient and modern, including the cultural delights of Little India, Chinatown and the ancient temples standing beside modern skyscrapers.  The man-made island of Sentosa can be reached by a cable-car ride offering fantastic panoramic views of the city and the Singapore River. Naturally, no visit to Singapore would be complete without a trip to the world famous Raffles hotel to sample its signature drink, the Singapore Sling.
